A corporate governance specialist and trusted advisor with over 25 years’ experience providing company secretarial and corporate governance services to listed companies in the UK. Previously Head of Company Secretarial Services and Partner at Shakespeare Martineau LLP, Ben serves as Company Secretary and trusted advisor to a number of public companies listed on the main market, AIM and AQSE. Ben’s experience spans a number of specialist sectors including VCTs, investment funds, technology, mining and oil and gas.  Ben has held non-executive director positions and has worked with overseas companies listed on NASDAQ and ASX. Ben is a fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute UK and Ireland and was once recognised in Computershare’s Governance Hot 100 Relationship Manager category.
